Image Licensing
Many of our photos can be licensed for commercial, advertising, or interior decor use. To license a photo from our archive a license must first be purchased. The photo license outlines the usage terms and the licensing fee for using the image.
What is an image license?
A license is basically an agreement to purchase rights to use a photo for specific (commercial) purposes. The image license states the use (how you will use photo) and the price charged for the use. Dave Bryce Photography is the ‘Licensor’ and the party purchasing the rights is the ‘Licensee’.
How much does licensing an image cost?
The price of a photo license depends on several factors including the intended use of the photo, the photo size, the duration of use, and the distribution of the photo. Since these factors are unique to each license we will first need to know the usage details to calculate pricing for you. Our minimum licensing fee is $500, but the great majority of non-editorial licenses will be well above that.
